Ayrton Senna legacy inspires new Zara fashion collection

The legacy of Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna continues to influence both culture and fashion. Zara has launched a new clothing collection in partnership with Senna Brands, the company managed by the driver's family. Released on October 12, the line features items inspired by Senna's personal wardrobe and racing gear, including T-shirts with graphic designs, sweatshirts, polos, and oversized jumpsuits, many reflecting a 1990s aesthetic.

Separately, the origins of Senna's iconic helmet design have been highlighted. Created in 1978 by Sid Mosca for the karting championships in Portugal, the design was intended to represent the Brazilian flag while conveying aggression and focus. Mosca designed the green and blue stripes to symbolize movement and the driver's intense concentration, using yellow to represent youth.
