Aysén Culture Fair generates nearly 70 million pesos in sales

The VII Feria de las Culturas Aysén in Coyhaique, Chile, generated nearly 70 million pesos in sales during its three-day run. The event featured 72 artisans from various regions, including Tarapacá, Atacama, Ñuble, Metropolitana, Los Ríos, Maule, and Aysén.

Funded by the Ministry of Cultures' programs for strengthening regional cultural identity and organized by the Seremi of Cultures Aysén with support from the Municipality of Coyhaique, the fair attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the Parque Urbano. Artisans showcased works made from materials such as silver, copper, wool, wood, and stone.

Sergio Becerra Mera, the Seremi of Culture Aysén, noted that the space is becoming a consolidated platform for artisans to commercialize their talents and connect with different audiences.
