Aysén Municipality announces September community and cultural program

The Municipality of Aysén has announced a diverse schedule of activities for September, aimed at celebrating Chilean traditions and fostering community engagement. The program includes national and international sporting events, folklore galas, traditional festivals, and family-oriented activities designed to boost local tourism and the economy.

A key component of the schedule is the new initiative ‘Domingos en Aysén: Tu Panorama es Aquí’ (Sundays in Aysén: Your Outlook is Here), which will take place on the first Sunday of every month. Starting September 6, the Puerto Aysén plaza will host a fair featuring 60 entrepreneurs, live music from regional bands like ‘Futuro Patagón’, and various workshops. Additionally, the ‘Domingo de Humedales’ cycling event will allow participants to explore the city's wetlands.
