Aysén producers participate in Sustainable Agriculture Transition meeting

Producers from Coyhaique and Río Ibáñez participated in a regional meeting for the Sustainable Agriculture Transition (TAS) Program in the Aysén region. The event, held at the TAS Demonstration Plot in El Claro, involved professionals from the Ministry of Agriculture, INIA, INDAP, and SAG.

Agriculture Seremi Yordy Cea emphasized the necessity of adopting cleaner, more environmentally friendly production methods to increase efficiency and address challenges such as reduced water availability. The program included technical presentations on biodiversity and ecological pest management to support more sustainable farming strategies.
