Ayumi Hamasaki headlines a-nation 2026 music festival in Odaiba

Ayumi Hamasaki headlined the final day of the a-nation 2026 music festival, held on October 3 and 4 in Odaiba. This year's event marked the 22nd iteration of the festival, featuring its first autumn schedule and a move to the Odaiba venue after 23 years. Over the two-day period, 45 artists performed for an audience of 50,000 people.

Hamasaki's closing performance featured a large marching band and dancers. She made an entrance on a float while performing ‘Bold & Delicious’ and engaged with the crowd during ‘Boys & Girls’. Her set included collaborations with rapper AK-69 on ‘SEASONS’ and Naoya Urata on ‘ANother Song’, alongside a medley of hits such as ‘evolution’ and ‘SURREAL’.

Prior to the performance, Hamasaki shared rehearsal photos on Instagram, showcasing a new short hairstyle and a casual look. Fans responded positively to her appearance and physical fitness in the social media posts.
