Ayvalık and Urla municipalities approve 2027 budgets

The Ayvalık Municipal Council has unanimously approved a 3.1 billion TL budget for the 2027 fiscal year. Mayor Mesut Ergin stated that the budget aims to use resources in an effective, efficient, and sustainable manner, focusing on human-centered goals and strategic development for the district.

In Urla, the Municipal Council also reached a unanimous decision to approve a 3.6 billion TL budget for 2027. AK Party Council Member Ümit Arslan emphasized that service should take precedence over politics, noting that despite political differences, the budget was supported to prioritize the district's common interests, including infrastructure, social spaces, and rural needs.
