Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin Inspects New Social Life Center Construction

Ayvalık district mayor Mesut Ergin visited the construction site of the Yeni Mahalle Social Life Center in Balıkesir, Turkey. He said the project, which will replace a former municipal cleaning‑department yard, is progressing rapidly and will become a key community hub.

Ergin announced that the completed centre will host the Ayvalık Children’s Activity Center, neighbourhood houses and a condolence house, aiming to provide safe education spaces, strengthen neighbourhood ties and serve citizens of all ages. He emphasized that the centre reflects a “social municipal” approach and that further investments will continue to improve living standards across Ayvalık’s neighbourhoods.
