Ayvalık Municipality, in collaboration with the Ayvalık Production and Marketing Cooperative, has launched a traditional program providing free paste machines to residents for winter food preparations.

Citizens can use the machines to process tomatoes and capia peppers at no cost. The service is scheduled to move through various local marketplaces in August, including Sarımsaklı (August 18), Altınova (August 19), Perşembe (August 20), Alibey/Cunda (August 22), and Armutçuk (August 23).

Mayor Mesut Ergin noted that the initiative aims to support residents with their seasonal preparations and preserve local traditions. The program follows high demand from previous years.
