Ayvalık to host 4th International Liberation Half Marathon

The 4th International Ayvalık Liberation Half Marathon is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 13. The event features various racing distances, including 21K, 10K, and 5K courses, designed to attract both professional athletes and families.

A highlight of the competition is the 21K half marathon, which includes a climb at Şeytan Sofrası. The central hub for the three-day event will be the Ayvalık Setur Marina. The program includes kit distribution, an Expo, a pasta party, a Sunset Party, and various stretching and warm-up sessions.

Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin stated that the organization aims to increase the city's brand value and provide both social and economic contributions to the region while promoting its natural beauty.
