Ayvatlar hosts second annual melon festival in Manisa

The second annual Ayvatlar Melon Festival was held in the Ayvatlar neighborhood of the Kula district in Manisa. The event aimed to promote the region's agricultural production, specifically focusing on the melons grown in Ayvatlar.

A highlight of the festival was the ‘Most Delicious Melon Competition,’ where a jury from the Kula District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Kula Chamber of Agriculture evaluated entries. Winning producers were awarded gold coins.

Local officials, including Kula District Governor Talha Altuntaş and Ayvatlar Neighborhood Head Ali Uğurlu, emphasized the importance of supporting local producers and preserving regional agricultural values. The festival was organized with support from the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Kula Municipality, and the Kula Chamber of Agriculture.
