Ayvens reports third quarter net profit decline

Ayvens, a specialist in long-term vehicle financing, reported a 11.9% year-on-year decrease in net profit for the third quarter of 2026. The company, a subsidiary of Société Générale, recorded a net profit of 240 million euros for the period between July and September.

The decline is attributed to a 2% drop in rental and service margins, which fell to 760.8 million euros. Additionally, the company's used vehicle resale activity saw losses widen to 21 million euros, compared to a profit of 74.8 million euros during the same period last year.

Management attributed the used car sales performance to the continued normalization of internal combustion engine vehicle results and the negative impact of high oil prices on demand. Despite these challenges, Ayvens stated it remains on track to meet its 2026 financial objectives and is preparing to launch its 2029 strategic plan.
