Azad Kashmir to provide scholarships and promote youth employment

Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Iftikhar Gillani, has announced government initiatives to promote skill development and self-employment among the youth. The administration plans to focus on sectors including livestock, agriculture, tourism, nursing, and vocational training to combat unemployment.

During a briefing by the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF), Gillani emphasized that the government will provide scholarships to talented and deserving students to ensure that financial hardships do not prevent access to higher education. The Prime Minister noted that the government intends to utilize PEEF’s expertise to advance education and various developmental sectors in the region.
