Azamara Cruises partners with Premier Golf for new cruise collection

Azamara Cruises has announced a partnership with Premier Golf, the official golf travel partner of the PGA of America, to launch a series of eight golf-themed cruises scheduled for 2027 and 2028. The collection will utilize all four of Azamara’s ships and will visit various global destinations, including Ireland, Scotland, the British Isles, Northern Europe, the Pacific Coast, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

The sailings are divided into two tiers: the Classic Collection, which focuses on traditional links courses where walking is common, and the Leisure Collection, which features cart-friendly courses for casual golfers. Featured courses include Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, Torrey Pines South in California, and Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand. Depending on the specific package, guests can play between three and five rounds of golf.

In addition to the cruises, the partnership includes five pre- and post-cruise golf experiences in locations such as Shenzhen, La Jolla, Sentosa Island in Singapore, and Te Arai in New Zealand. Packages typically include golf transfers, lunch at the courses, and welcome or farewell celebrations.
