Azambuja launches third edition of Logistics and Distribution course

The third edition of the Professional Higher Technical Course (TeSP) in Distribution and Logistics has officially commenced at the Polytechnic University of Santarém's campus in Azambuja. The opening ceremony, held on September 14, was attended by local officials including the Mayor of Azambuja, Silvino Lúcio, and the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Santarém, Professor João Moutão.

The program represents a consolidated partnership between the Municipality of Azambuja and the Polytechnic University of Santarém, designed to align higher education with the specific needs of the local business landscape. Given Azambuja's strategic role in national supply chains due to its high concentration of distribution, logistics, and commerce companies, the course aims to provide qualified professionals capable of addressing challenges in digitalization, automation, and sustainability.

The initiative provides local youth and adults with access to higher education within their own territory, fostering regional competitiveness and promoting skilled employment.
