Azerbaijan Airlines named Best Regional Airline for Central Asia and CIS

Azerbaijan Airlines has been named the Best Regional Airline in Central Asia and the CIS at the 2026 World Airline Awards. The awards were presented by Skytrax during a ceremony held on September 18 at The Langham hotel in London.

Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted noted that the airline has established itself as a benchmark for regional service in the region, citing its fleet expansion, route network growth, and service quality enhancements.

Samir Rzayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Azerbaijan Airlines, stated that the recognition reflects the trust of passengers and the dedication of the airline's staff. He emphasized that the company remains focused on investing in new aircraft and improving digital tools to ensure safer and more convenient travel experiences.
