Azerbaijan Army begins new military training year

The Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense has announced the commencement of a new academic year across various military educational institutions, including service branches, units, and special forces training centers. The training plan was approved by Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

During ceremonies marked by the playing of the State Anthem, officials emphasized the directives set by President Ilham Aliyev and the Ministry of Defense to maintain high levels of combat readiness. The new curriculum will focus on integrating advanced methods and high technologies into training exercises.

Drawing on combat experience gained during the 44-day Patriotic War and subsequent operations, the training will prioritize the effective use of modern combat equipment and weaponry under diverse climatic conditions, difficult terrain, and during both day and night operations. Additionally, the new period aims to strengthen the material-technical base and implement automated management systems.
