Azerbaijan completes filming for ‘Armour of God 4: Ultimatum’

Filming for the Azerbaijani segment of the movie ‘Armour of God 4: Ultimatum’ has been successfully completed, according to the Azerbaijan Film Agency (ARKA). This project represents the largest foreign film production ever carried out in Azerbaijan.

The production is part of a broader state policy aimed at attracting international filmmakers, following a presidential decree signed on May 29, 2025. To incentivize foreign producers, the government introduced support mechanisms such as a ‘cash rebate’ system, which provides partial reimbursement of production expenses incurred within the country.

The Azerbaijan Film Commission, established by the Ministry of Culture, coordinated the project alongside 26 government institutions, including the ministries of Digital Development and Transport, Internal Affairs, and Emergency Situations. Officials stated that the success of this production is intended to strengthen Azerbaijan’s position as an attractive destination for the global film industry.
