Azerbaijan Extends Graduate Admission Deadline Amid Concerns Over Empty Slots

The State Examination Center announced that the deadline for choosing master‑program specializations has been extended to 13:00 on July 27. Undergraduate candidates who meet the admission criteria must submit their selections online, with 15,633 applications already approved. Applicants can choose up to 20 specializations that match their bachelor's degree and, where required, a foreign language qualification.

Education experts warn that many planned places in master programs may remain vacant because the number of qualified applicants is low. They expect a decrease in high transition scores and variable outcomes across disciplines, with some MBA programmes possibly seeing higher scores due to greater applicant interest.
