Azerbaijan Grants Temporary Visa‑Free Travel for Bosnia and Herzegovina Citizens

Azerbaijan has introduced a temporary visa‑free regime for holders of ordinary passports from Bosnia and Herzegovina (and Singapore). The measure takes effect on 1 August 2026 and remains in force until 1 August 2027. During this period citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina may enter Azerbaijan up to three times, each visit allowed for a maximum stay of 30 days. Travelers staying longer than 15 days must register their place of residence with the State Migration Service, and extensions or temporary residence permits can be applied for online or at ASAN service centres.

The policy aims to strengthen bilateral relations and boost tourism, as Azerbaijan seeks to attract more visitors by easing entry requirements for a growing list of countries.
