Azerbaijan internet usage reaches 91.5 per 100 people in 2025

Internet usage in Azerbaijan has continued to rise, reaching 91.5 users per 100 people in 2025, according to data from the State Statistical Committee. This represents an increase of 4.8 users per 100 people since 2021, when the rate stood at 86.7.

Baku recorded the highest connectivity in the country, with 95.1 users per 100 people in 2025. Following the capital, the Absheron-Khizi economic region showed high usage at 93.5 per 100 people, with Sumqayit specifically reaching 94.

Other notable regional statistics include the Ganja-Dashkasan economic region at 91.3 per 100 people and the Quba-Khachmaz region at 90.6. In the Karabakh economic region, the rate was 88.8 users per 100 people, with specific figures including 89.8 in Agjabadi and 88 in Aghdam.
