Ilham Aliyev meets Iranian President Pezeshkian in Bishkek

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The meeting was shared via the President's social media accounts.

In Azerbaijan, new regulations regarding the use of water bodies for special purposes will take effect starting September 1. Based on a decision signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be required to pay fees for extracting water using technical equipment, discharging treated wastewater into water bodies, or utilizing water areas. Fees vary depending on the source: 0.4 manat per 100 cubic meters for Caspian Sea water, 4 manat for rivers and lakes, and 40 manat for groundwater. Applications for use must be submitted to the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency.
