Azerbaijan minimum wage forecast for 2027

Economist Eldeniz Amirov has provided projections for Azerbaijan’s minimum wage in 2027, based on historical trends, inflation, and average salary dynamics.

Analyzing previous increases, Amirov noted that recent minimum wage hikes have typically fallen within a 15% to 20% range. For instance, the minimum wage rose from 250 manat in 2020-2021 to 400 manat by 2025. Looking ahead, the average monthly nominal salary is projected to reach 1,288.3 manat in 2027, representing a 16.8% increase from 2025 levels.

Based on these salary dynamics, the minimum wage could potentially rise to between 465 and 470 manat. However, when factoring in projected annual inflation of 5.3% for 2027, the figure might settle closer to 450 manat.
