Azerbaijan opens registration for Professional Accountant Certificate exam

Registration has opened for the second stage of the Professional Accountant Certificate (PMS) examination in Azerbaijan. The exam is scheduled to take place on October 25 at the State Examination Center’s electronic testing facility.

A total of 1,520 spots are available, divided into two shifts of 760 participants each. Candidates can register through the State Examination Center’s website from September 17 at 18:00 until October 10 at 18:00.

Available certification tracks include International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for Small and Medium-sized Entities, IFRS, and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) levels I and II. The examination consists of a 40-question test block worth a maximum of 100 points, featuring both closed-type and open-type questions.

To qualify, candidates must meet specific educational and professional requirements, such as holding a diploma in an economic field and possessing at least five years of accounting work experience, or holding a higher education diploma.
