Azerbaijan reconstructs Zangilan and Fuzuli regions

Azerbaijan is undergoing extensive reconstruction and urban development in the regions of Zangilan and Fuzuli following their liberation during the 2020 Patriotic War.

In Zangilan, restoration efforts are being implemented based on modern urban planning principles, innovative technologies, and sustainable development standards to rebuild residential areas and infrastructure destroyed during the period of occupation.

In Fuzuli, the city's liberation is commemorated annually on October 17, a date established by presidential decree. The region, which suffered significant destruction of its cultural and social infrastructure, is part of the broader national effort to restore territorial integrity and facilitate the return of displaced populations to their ancestral lands.
