Azerbaijan seeks to expand forensic science cooperation with Turkey

Azerbaijan has expressed interest in enhancing cooperation and leveraging the expertise of the Turkish Forensic Medicine Institute. During the 21st International Forensic Medicine Days Congress held in Antalya, Cabir Ahmet, Head of the Quality Department at the Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice Forensic Sciences Center, praised the Turkish institution for its international standing and advanced methods.

Ahmet emphasized the importance of maintaining collaboration and launching new projects within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. He noted that the congress serves as a vital platform for sharing developments and training experts. This follows the founding meeting of the Turkic Forensic Sciences Network held in Baku in April, where reports were prepared to guide ongoing bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of forensic sciences.
