Azerbaijan State University of Economics holds orientation for new students

The Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) held orientation meetings for first-year students admitted for the 2026/2027 academic year. A total of 524 students were admitted, including 300 for the Finance major and 224 for Accounting.

During the meetings, Dean Hafis Hajiyev and Professor Avaz Alekberov discussed the responsibilities of the new students and the importance of acquiring skills that meet modern labor market demands. Hajiyev noted that four students achieved scores of 600 or higher, with the highest scores being 626.3 in Finance and 497.3 in Accounting. The incoming cohort also includes 15 foreign citizens.
