AzerGold launches locally produced silver bars in Azerbaijan

AzerGold Joint Stock Company has begun selling 999.9‑fine silver bars made from domestic raw material, marking the first such offering in the Azerbaijani market. The initial products are available in 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg weights and are sold through a Sales and Exchange Centre in Baku as well as an online platform.

The launch aims to satisfy growing local demand for silver, driven by expanding green‑energy technologies and the electronics sector, and to provide citizens with a new investment vehicle. Purchasers can pay in the national currency, and the company will repurchase the bars at the Central Bank’s daily official rate plus a 10 % premium.

AzerGold plans to expand the range of weights based on market response, investor interest and consumer preferences, thereby extending the domestic value chain for precious metals.
