Azets and YFM Equity Partners announce key northern UK appointments

Azets, an accountancy and business advisory firm, has expanded its northern operations in the United Kingdom. David Tomlinson has joined the Manchester corporate finance practice as a partner within transaction services. Tomlinson brings 17 years of experience from PwC, including international expertise intended to assist with increasing instructions from overseas buyers.

In addition to the partner appointment, Azets has inducted 23 trainees across its Leeds, York, and Bradford offices. These recruits include specialists in audit, tax, technical accounting, and business advisory services.

Separately, YFM Equity Partners has appointed Oliver McRae as investment director for its Yorkshire team. Based in the Leeds office, McRae will focus on deal origination and deployment across the North of England, drawing on over 15 years of experience in corporate development and investment.
