Azienda Agricola Billo hosts social agriculture event in Copparo

The Azienda Agricola Billo in Copparo will host the third stage of the “L’Orto Abile – la terra che cura” project on September 5. Organized by Raffaele Billo and Giuliano Giuliani, the initiative promotes social agriculture and hortotherapy, using farming as a therapeutic and rehabilitative tool for individuals with physical, mental, or sensory disabilities.

Following previous sessions in April and July, this event will focus on the care of accessible garden plots and the first harvest. The program includes presentations from various professionals and associations, including representatives from Neuropsichiatria Ausl Ferrara and Cidas Copparo. The event will conclude with a communal dinner featuring a buffet, a harvest grill, and live music by the tribute band “Mercanti e Servi”.
