Azienda Agricola Cecchetto Giorgio hosts inclusive grape harvest

Azienda Agricola Cecchetto Giorgio will host its 22nd inclusive grape harvest on October 3, in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Persone Down (AIPD) – Marca Trevigiana section. Since 2005, this annual event has utilized the Raboso del Piave grape as a symbol of community and social inclusion.

This year, the event is expanding to include the wider community, inviting youth of various ages and their families to participate in workshops and the harvest. Participants will engage in traditional activities, including picking grapes, crushing, and pressing them using an ancient press. The project will continue in the spring when participants return to the winery to bottle the wine and apply labels they designed themselves.
