Azienda USL di Modena launches five-year healthcare facility maintenance contract
The Azienda USL di Modena has launched a new five-year contract for the management and maintenance of its real estate and facilities, effective October 1. This initiative aims to transition from reactive repairs to a strategic, programmed maintenance model to ensure the safety, functionality, and quality of healthcare spaces.
The contract covers the agency’s network, which includes four hospitals, such as the Ramazzini Hospital in Carpi, and various health facilities distributed across seven territorial districts. Services provided under the agreement include ordinary maintenance of buildings and systems, 24-hour emergency intervention, and a ticketing system for request traceability.
The total commitment for fixed-fee services is approximately 31 million euros over the five-year period. Additional interventions, specifically those related to fire safety regulation compliance and other measured services, will be authorized and funded annually based on the actual needs of the facilities.
