Renato Júnior endorses Plínio Valério for the Senate

Manaus Mayor Renato Júnior has announced his second support for the Senate race in the upcoming elections, endorsing Senator Plínio Valério (PSDB). This follows his previous endorsement of Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB).

During an event in Manaus, Júnior stated that he had decided on his support earlier but waited for the appropriate moment to avoid disrupting the strategies of other candidates. He praised Valério as a politician with an unblemished career and noted his history of securing resources for the capital, such as infrastructure improvements on Constantino Nery Avenue.

Valério, who is seeking reelection, is part of the political coalition led by Omar Aziz (PSD), the candidate for the Governor of Amazonas. The mayor's decision reinforces the political alignment within the group supporting Aziz's gubernatorial bid.
