Azka Corbuzier to debut acting in short film Home, Almost

Azka Corbuzier is set to make his acting debut in the short film ‘Home, Almost’, directed by Tumpal Tampubolon. The drama-action film will have its world premiere at the Urbanworld Film Festival 2026 in New York City.

The festival, which is an Academy Award-qualifying event, will take place from October 14–18, 2026. ‘Home, Almost’ is scheduled to screen on October 15, 2026, at Regal Union Square as part of the ‘Love, Home + Becoming I’ short film program.

The 18-minute film follows Darren, an amateur MMA fighter played by Corbuzier, who faces personal conflicts during a journey home with his father and younger brother. Corbuzier stated that he spent a year preparing mentally, physically, and emotionally for the role. The film also stars Verdi Solaiman and Millo Taslim.
