Azra Derya Çelik, 10, works market stall to support ailing father

Azra Derya Çelik, a 10-year-old student from the Ünye district of Ordu, has begun working at a local market stall to support her father, Adem Çelik. Her father has been struggling with kidney, blood sugar, and blood pressure issues for approximately 1.5 years.

During school holidays, Azra sets up the stall in the early morning to sell regional products such as cornmeal, butter, zucchini, leeks, and beans. She manages the sales and uses the money she earns to cover her school needs. In addition to her work at the market, she also assists her mother with chores in their village, including milking cows.
