Azul and SEST SENAT partner for aircraft technician training

Azul and SEST SENAT have entered into an agreement to establish an aircraft maintenance technician training program in Campinas, São Paulo. The initiative aims to increase the supply of specialized professionals for the aviation sector.

The first class is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027. The program will initially offer two tracks: Avionics, covering electrical, electronic, and communication systems, and Airframe, focusing on structures and mechanical components. Future training is expected to include Powerplant (GMP) certification.

Under the 60-month agreement, Azul will provide practical training facilities in Campinas, including its maintenance hangar and equipment. SEST SENAT will manage pedagogical aspects, faculty, and the accreditation process with the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC).
