Azul Mayor Nelson Sombra meets with labor leaders and students

Azul Mayor Nelson Sombra held separate meetings with labor representatives and technical students to discuss local development and crisis management.

A delegation from the CTA Autónoma, led by General Secretary Oscar “Colo” De Isasi, presented a document titled “10 urgent measures for another Argentina” to the Mayor. The union leaders expressed concerns regarding the economic impact of national government policies on municipalities and provinces. The meeting focused on coordinating actions to address the current crisis and discussed the progress of a local housing plan involving approximately 70 lots.

Additionally, seventh-year students from Technical School No. 1 presented various productive and technological projects to the Mayor. These initiatives include natural cosmetics, ecoblocks made from recycled fabric, hemp bricks, and an arsenic filter designed to improve water quality. The discussions aimed to strengthen the link between technical education and the local productive sector through potential future training and educational visits.
