Azuqueca de Henares announces smart bike parking cleaning and Halloween festivities

The Azuqueca de Henares City Council has scheduled a deep cleaning of the smart bicycle parking facility located at the Station Walk, near the Cercanías train station, for Thursday, October 29. To facilitate the work, officials request that users remove their bicycles before 8:00 AM. Any bicycles remaining after this time will be moved to the Local Police facilities for retrieval.

The facility, which has been operational since July 2021, has a 20-space capacity and includes video surveillance. It is accessible via the ‘PVerde’ app. The installation is expected to be fully operational again by 6:00 PM on Thursday.

Additionally, the municipality has organized several activities to celebrate Halloween this Saturday. The schedule includes a ‘Trick or Treat Route’ in the morning, family workshops, and horror cinema sessions. Evening events will feature a ‘Terror Passage’ at the Espacio Joven Europeo (EJE) and a Halloween DJ party at La Caja.
