Łazy to return to Mielno municipality in 2027

The popular seaside resort of Łazy will return to the Mielno municipality effective January 1, 2027. This administrative shift, mandated by a Council of Ministers regulation published in the Journal of Laws, will see the Łazy registration district, covering 746.08 hectares, transferred from the Sianów municipality to Mielno.

This decision reverses a previous change from January 1, 2023, when Łazy was attached to Sianów. Prior to that, the town had been part of Mielno until the end of 2022. The upcoming adjustment will bring two well-known Baltic Sea resorts—Mielno and Łazy—under the same municipal administration, which is expected to influence regional tourism strategies and spatial planning.
