Azzas 2154 launches socio-environmental management program for fashion suppliers
Azzas 2154 has announced the launch of the ‘Moda em Movimento’ (Fashion in Motion) program, a pilot project designed to boost socio-environmental management within its fashion supply chain. Developed in partnership with Sistema B Brasil and the consultancy Numerik, the initiative will involve 50 direct suppliers of finished products.
The program focuses on diagnostics, training, and monitoring socio-environmental practices, with a specific emphasis on working conditions and human rights. Using B Lab guidelines and the B Impact digital tool, participants will receive support to identify challenges and implement management improvements. Of the 50 participating suppliers, 20 will undergo intensive monitoring to test development strategies.
This initiative follows Azzas 2154’s recent recertification as a B Corp. The group aims to extend its ESG strategy beyond its own operations to include its commercial partners. Currently, the company maintains a network of 1,993 national suppliers in Tiers 1 and 2, 93% of which have already been audited according to socio-environmental criteria.
