B 39 road renovation completed near Mühlhofen

Road renovation works on the B 39 in the Mühlhofen area, located within the municipality of Weinburg, have been successfully completed. The project involved the comprehensive rehabilitation of approximately 1.3 kilometers of roadway to address significant damage, including network cracks, ruts, and surface displacements.

The renovation covered an area of roughly 12,000 square meters. To improve traffic safety on this heavily used route, which sees an average of 8,000 vehicles per day, the existing asphalt construction was milled to a depth of ten centimeters. A new six-centimeter asphalt binder layer and a four-centimeter top layer were subsequently installed.

Following the paving, crews completed ground markings, restored road equipment, and adjusted the road shoulders to match the new surface. The official completion of the measure was marked on August 20.
