B 75 highway renovation enters final phase near Lübeck

The state road construction and transport agency of Schleswig-Holstein (LBV. SH) has entered the final phase of renewing the B 75 federal highway between Travereithof and Lübeck. The project, which includes repairs to the roadway and bicycle paths, is expected to continue until approximately October 17, 2026.

Due to requirements for traffic safety and construction quality, the roadway will be subject to a full closure. While police and emergency services can pass through the construction zone, other traffic must follow designated detours via Reinfeld, Klein Wesenberg, and Niendorf. The bicycle path between Hamberge and Lübeck has already been reopened as of August 27. The total cost of the project is approximately 4.2 million euros, funded by the federal government.
