B2Gold discovers new high-grade gold zone at Goose mine
B2Gold Corp has reported significant exploration successes and operational progress at its Goose mine within the Back River gold district in Nunavut, Canada. The company identified a new high-grade gold zone named Tattuk, discovered approximately 150 metres below the Nuvuyak mineralization.
Drilling results at the Llama deposit also showed high-grade continuity, including an intersection of 19.12 grams per tonne of gold over 21.23 metres. Additional high-grade results were recorded at the Nuvuyak and George projects, supporting the potential for resource growth and mine-life extensions.
Operationally, the Goose mine remains on track to produce between 170,000 and 200,000 ounces of gold in 2026. The company is currently utilizing a mobile crushing plant to maintain capacity while repairs and upgrades are made to the fixed crushing facility, which is expected to reach a sustained capacity of 3,200 tonnes per day by October.
