B55 Institute to host major entrepreneurship event in São Paulo

The B55 Institute, a non-profit founded by prominent Brazilian entrepreneurs Guilherme Benchimol (XP), David Vélez (Nubank), and Andre Street (Stone), will host its inaugural B55 Conference in São Paulo on September 29 and 30. Led by CEO Cristhiano Faé, the institute aims to become Brazil’s largest entrepreneurship hub, offering mentorship and networking for approximately 3,000 attendees.

In related business news, the startup Lobby has reported R$ 100 million in revenue since its launch. Originally conceived as a corporate hospitality service, the company pivoted during the pandemic to manage the full supply chain of corporate gifting for large clients such as Grupo Boticário, Bayer, and Tetra Pak. The company currently maintains a positive net margin and an annual growth rate of approximately 40%.
