Ba Den Mountain authorities warn against unauthorized trekking tours

The Ba Den Mountain National Tourism Area Management Board in Tay Ninh has issued an urgent warning regarding unauthorized trekking, forest exploration, and camping activities. Certain organizations and individuals have been promoting, registering, and charging fees for tours through routes and areas that have not been permitted by the management board.

Authorities stated that these spontaneous activities pose significant safety risks to participants and negatively impact forest protection and nature conservation efforts. Furthermore, such unauthorized excursions can complicate search and rescue operations in the event of an emergency.

The management board clarified that it does not partner with or authorize any third-party services to lead tours in these unapproved areas. Violators may face administrative penalties under Decree No. 146/2026/ND-CP, with fines ranging from 4 million to 10 million VND for organizing tourism or conducting business in the forest without the owner's permission.
