Ba Den Mountain welcomes 4 million visitors in seven months

Ba Den Mountain, known as the ‘roof of Southern Vietnam,’ has welcomed 4 million cable car passengers within the first seven months of 2026. Located in Tay Ninh Province at an altitude of 986 meters, the site is a major tourism driver for the region.

According to the Tay Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the province saw approximately 5.07 million total visitors in the first half of 2026, representing a 9.7% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The mountain is a significant spiritual destination, featuring ancient pagodas and the Tay Bo Da Son Lady Buddha Statue. This 72-meter tall bronze statue, cast from over 170 tons of red copper, holds records as the tallest bronze Lady Buddha statue in both Asia and Vietnam.

Beyond its religious significance, the mountain offers panoramic views of Tay Ninh and Dau Tieng Lake, playing a vital role in the socio-economic development of the province.
