Ba Lai 8 Bridge reaches major milestone in Vinh Long

The main span of the Ba Lai 8 Bridge has officially been joined, marking a critical milestone for the coastal road project in Vinh Long Province. The project, which has an investment of approximately 2,255 billion VND, features a bridge length of over 500 meters with four lanes and total project length exceeding 3.3km.

Construction of the main span was carried out by VINACONEX. Following 22 months of construction, the completion of this technical milestone moves the project into its final phase. The bridge is intended to serve as a backbone for the coastal road, connecting Dong Thap, Vinh Long, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Nguyen Truc Son, Vice Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, stated that the bridge is a strategic infrastructure investment aimed at developing the eastern region of the province. Once completed, the road is expected to enhance connectivity, boost the maritime economy, and stimulate growth in logistics, industry, and commerce.
