Baba Is You board game launches Kickstarter campaign

The popular puzzle game ‘Baba Is You’ has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for a board game adaptation. The campaign is being conducted alongside a card game version of ‘Party House’ from the UFO 50 collection.

In the board game, players can manipulate rules using blocks on the board, mirroring the original video game's mechanics. The game supports two-player competitive play, where players control characters like ‘Baba’ or ‘Keke’ to reach the ‘WIN’ condition by altering the game's logic.

As of the latest reports, the campaign has significantly exceeded its initial $15,000 goal, raising over $275,000. Backer rewards include the standalone board game for $49 or an ‘All-In Bundle’ featuring both games for $149. Development is expected to progress through 2027, with multi-language translations anticipated in late 2027 or later.
