Baba Ramdev denies allegations of Patanjali product adulteration

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has dismissed allegations of adulteration in Patanjali products, specifically denying claims that the company’s cow ghee contains animal fat or bone. During a press conference in New Delhi, Ramdev characterized the accusations as a misinformation campaign driven by hearsay and rivals. He challenged critics to test the ghee at any accredited laboratory and asserted that no regulatory agency has found Patanjali drugs to fall below required quality parameters.

Ramdev also refuted reports suggesting that the Supreme Court had banned Patanjali medicines, stating that the company’s products meet international quality standards. He addressed recent criticism from former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, noting that the two had since met to clarify misconceptions.

Additionally, Ramdev announced the inauguration of the Patanjali Ayurveda Gurukulam in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The institute will offer Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degrees, with an initial intake of 60 students this year and plans to eventually accommodate approximately 1,000 students.
