Babacar Fall calls for electoral calendar respect and financial accountability

Babacar Fall, coordinator of Gradec, has called for strict adherence to the electoral calendar regarding upcoming local elections. Speaking on RTS, Fall emphasized that local polls hold the same dignity as presidential and legislative elections and argued that any potential postponement must be legally justified and clearly motivated.

Fall also addressed ongoing political tensions between the Executive and the parliamentary majority, suggesting two possible resolutions: a reconciliation between the parties or the dissolution of the National Assembly. Regarding controversial financial matters, he urged that justice be allowed to establish responsibility without external pressure, stressing that the management of public funds requires full accountability.
