Babatunde Odutola jailed for indecent exposure on UK train

Babatunde Odutola, a 36-year-old registered sex offender, has been sentenced at Manchester Magistrates’ Court following an incident on a train traveling through Cheshire toward Manchester Piccadilly.

According to the British Transport Police, Odutola approached a woman traveling alone, became aggressive when she refused to engage, and subsequently exposed himself and masturbated while staring at her. CCTV footage captured the behavior as other passengers moved through the carriage. A fellow passenger intervened to escort the victim to safety.

Odutola was arrested at Manchester Piccadilly and prosecuted within 72 hours of the incident. Detective Constable Leonidas Christoforou described the victim's experience as “terrifying” and noted that Odutola showed little remorse. Odutola pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and breaching a suspended sentence order.
